Field Trip at Lake Erie Nature and Science Center
Sunday, September 28, 2014
Leaders: Susan Ballard (LENSC) and Erik Bruder (WCAS)
A perfectly mild and sunny day with Lake Erie as smooth as glass
made for sparse birding in the Huntington Reservation of Cleveland
Metroparks, starting from Lake Erie Nature and Science Center. A
Brown Thrasher and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker were the highlights.
Birding was suspended twice, for a large beautiful spider and for a
Walking Stick insect.
