Second Saturday Bird Walk, at Rocky River Nature Center

16 birders, 21 species
Two Carolina Wrens played and sang on the roof of the Rocky River
Nature Center.
Sightings included four species of sparrow and a showy Red-tailed
Hawk along the trail under
Fort Hill. Another
Red-tailed Hawk was observed eating a squirrel, and a Blue Jay
eating a mouse or vole. Overall there was a smaller number of
species, but a good number of vocal birds.
