Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society sponsored its first "Second
Saturday" bird walk at on the trails around the Cleveland Metroparks
Rocky River Nature Center. The monthly Saturday walks had been held
for many years by RRNC staff. When RRNC changed the schedule, the
leaders and birders decided to continue the popular Saturday walks
with WCAS as a sponsor. The group welcomed several new birders. Some
highlights for this walk were a Magnolia Warbler and several Wood
Ducks with ducklings.
