Medusa Marsh
Birders have visited these marshes for years. There are no signs that designate this area as Medusa Marsh. But birders nicknamed this area after Medusa Cement that used to occupy this land.
Directions:
From the Cleveland area: West on Rte. 2. Exit at US 6 (west of Sandusky,
not just past Huron). Go east (it's a left turn from the ramp because the
ramp is a swoop-around) to the "T" intersection where US 6 turns right.
Turn left (west) on Barrett Rd. The marshes are a couple of miles down the
road.
From the west: East on Rte. 2. Exit at Rte. 269 (first exit after the
Sandusky Bay Bridge). Turn left (north). At the "T" in Bay View, turn
right on Barrett to the marshes.
