Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society and
Black River Audubon Society Field Trip Sunday, November 9, 2008 Sandy
Ridge, Lorain County Metroparks Trip Leader: Gary Gerrone. Twenty-four
birders attended. Black River Audubon joined Western Cuyahoga Audubon
for this trip to one of Northeast Ohio's prime birding spots. We were
treated to eagles overhead, a variety of sparrows in the tangles, and
great looks at coots and other waterfowl. We had a chance to learn quite
a bit of natural history from naturalist Gary Gerrone.
